Cena in a few lines

Cena is a free app for tracking TV shows and movies with the people you watch with, without spoilers. It was built for people left without a home when TV Time shut down in July 2026, and designed to cost so little to run that it won't meet the same end. It's made by an independent developer in Portugal.

The story

TV Time closed on July 15, 2026 with 26.4 million installs, saying it was no longer sustainable as a free app. In Cena, shared data is computed once for everyone, and the estimated server cost is about €0.002 per active user per month. Tracking stays free forever, and anyone can export their data for free at any time.

What sets it apart

Watch together. Link accounts with whoever you watch with and see which episode each of you is on, with a heads-up when one watches ahead.
Spoiler shield. Comments, reactions, titles and stills of unwatched episodes are blurred until you tap.
Taste compatibility. "You and João are 82% compatible", with what you both love and what they loved that you haven't seen.
What should I watch tonight? Say how much time you have and get episodes or a movie that fit.
Stats and Cena Wrapped. Your TV DNA, fun facts, badges showing their rarity and a yearly recap every December.
No fresh start needed. Import from a TV Time export, Trakt or CSV.
